Geographical Advantages
Vietnam stretches in a narrow strip from north to south., with an extensive coastline that facilitates well-developed import and export trade. This natural geographical advantage has provided convenient conditions for close cooperation with the Chinese market. For a long time, Vietnam has consistently been China's largest trading partner in ASEAN, while China is the biggest supplier of capital goods and intermediate products to Vietnam. According to Vietnamese regulations, new investment projects in specific industrial zones, export processing zones, high-tech park areas, and economic zones can enjoy exemptions and reductions in corporate income tax, and a tax incentive scheme known as "four years of exemption, nine years of half reductions". Additionally, Vietnam allows 100% foreign ownership in most industries, including trade, IT, manufacturing, and education.
In the first six months of 2023, Vietnam attracted foreign investment exceeding $13.43 billion, equivalent to 95.7% of the same period last year. VIETNAM SAIGON PLASTICS ASSOCIATION(VSPA)
Vietnam Saigon Plastic Association (VSPA) was established on March 26, 1993. VSPA has gathered together various types of enterprises in Ho Chi Minh City and the surrounding areas based on the merger of central and local state-owned plastics and rubber enterprises. SHOES & LEATHER ASSOCIATION OF HCMC(SLA)
The Shoes and Leather Association of Ho Chi Minh City (SLA) is a voluntary organization built up by legal status enterprises coming from various economic sectors in Ho Chi Minh City and surrounding provinces. Vietnam Packaging Association (VINPAS) was established in 2001. Members are the legal-status citizens, organizations in accordance with the Vietnamese law who operate in the field of production and business, consumption, research and management that are directly or indirectly related to the packaging industry. Currently, the Association has an estimated 150+ members, involving in the area of paper, plastic, metal, wood, glass, biodegradable materials and other related packaging industries.
Saigon Construction and Building Materials Association(SACA)
The Association of Construction and Building Materials of Ho Chi Minh City (SACA) is a voluntary professional organization established by individuals and organizations engaged in the field of building materials in Ho Chi Minh City. It currently boasts 315 members from various sectors. The association is under the management of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction and is a member of the Ho Chi Minh City Union of Science and Technology Associations, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Vietnam Construction Association, and the Ho Chi Minh City Business Association.
Vietnam Electronic Industries Association(VEIA)
Vietnam Electronic Industries Association was established in June 2000 by a group of electronic manufacturers to meet the growing demand of industrial activities and promote the cooperation and the development of electronic industry in Vietnam. VEIA is an industry organization in Vietnam with activities covering both the electronics and ICT fields.
Recently, VEIA has 115 members, in which 104 regular members and 11 associate members, including companies engage in manufacturing, trading and service in the fields of electronics, information technology and communication.
Vietnam Association for Building Materials(ABM)
The Vietnam Association of Building Materials (VABM), formerly known as the Association of Building Materials and Components, was established on August 11, 1984. In 2004, the Ministry of Interior recognized the association as a national-level organization representing the Vietnamese building materials industry domestically and internationally. As of 2009, VABM has nearly 100 collective members representing various sectors, including cement, construction ceramics, architectural glass, paving stones, stone materials, construction, decorative finishing materials, concrete, roofing materials, composite materials, and 150 individual members from research institutes, design consulting firms, colleges and universities, production and operation units, and management personnel.
Binh Duong Furniture Association (BIFA)
Binh Duong Furniture Association (BIFA) was established as a Non-Governmental Organization and volunteer Association in 2009. Currently, BIFA has more than 200 members, who are local enterprises that representing businesses and companies from all sectors of the furniture industry: indoor and outdoor furniture, accessories for industrial equipment, industrial board, and trade, service, logistics advisory.

The Ho Chi Minh Industrial Development Center is under the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Industry and Trade and was officially renamed in 2015.
